Post subject: algebra in art
Maths and me? Completely unrelated. Why am I here then? I am involved in a non-profit project and contribute visuals, one about couples, union of man and woman. There is wornout Adam and Eve, Romeo and Juliet is too negative, Yin-Yang too abstract and working with all shades of light blue and pink is not my thing.
But I remembered reading that scientists judge a formula by its elegance. Is a great formula not akin to a great work of art? In other words, wouldn't a perfect mathematical, algebraic or whatever formula be as elegant as any artwork? And that's were I need your help.
Imagine a couple of a man and a woman, the concept of a whole One being made of Two complementary parts, you get the idea.
